Thank you for your interest in working at Blue Gum Montessori School Inc. Perth, Western Australia.
We are a small independent primary school for 3 to 12 year olds and are situated in the Southern Perth Suburb of Bibra Lake.
At Blue Gum Montessori our Staff enjoy a strong partnership with our students and their parents. We have a whole school approach totally committed to the Montessori Ethos and current best education practice. We are passionate about developing confident, independent, self-disciplined children who have the ability to work alone as well as in small or large groups, and who have a positive attitude to life and a love of learning.
Each of our classrooms operates as a micro community within a larger community and everyone celebrates the cultural diversity of the school, is mindful of the necessity of sustainability and the focus on the children in their quest to become citizens of the world. To ensure that we deliver a quality Montessori outcome our classrooms are all well equipped with a large collection of resources for staff to draw on. Due to our size our adult / child ratio is small with year groups of around nine children in each home classroom. Each of our classrooms has a three year mixed age group span.
