I loved the course! I learnt so much and I loved many of my professors. That’s not to say that there weren’t some units that could’ve been organised a bit better and where the professors could’ve been a bit more supportive but overall, I had a really great experience with Deakin.

I developed and grew such a variety of fine arts skills, art history knowledge, and analytical skills within my course. Without having done my course, I would not know which area I desire to build a career in. Completing an internship as the last unit of my course was the best idea, because I am now equipped with experience in work life. Although this course was challenging, I am extremely glad that I had the opportunity to study in the visual arts space. Waterfront Campus has a wonderful art space and lecturers that value encouraging the unique styles of students. I would encourage anyone interested in the creative arts to study at Deakin University.
