What’s it like working at Amart Furniture?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Amart Furniture particularly value the strong team relationships and supportive coworker environment in many locations. The company offers attractive benefits including staff discounts and commission opportunities, while also providing good training systems and development opportunities. The modern facilities, particularly at head office, are also highlighted as a positive aspect of working at the company.

However, there are areas for improvement, including the need for better communication from management regarding changes and expectations. The work-life balance can be challenging in some roles, particularly for management positions. The workplace culture appears to vary significantly between locations, and some departments experience high staff turnover.

    Unapologetically TOXIC.
The good thingsNo part of it.......
The challengesIncredibly Toxic workplace culture, Management are super out of touch with both the team and reality plus they gossip like teens [This is on every level of hierarchy]. In a single year this store went through 2 Regional managers, 2 assistant store managers, 3 office members, 4 sales people, and 2 dispatch members... stay away from this business, they cut commissions and spiffs at random and act like you should kiss their feet for giving you the opportunity to work there.

Don’t work at the Prospect store, you’ll regret it.
The good thingsThe only positive was meeting the new employees as they had positive experiences so far.
The challengesInexperienced management in the Prospect Store. The Store Manager was more interested in school yard dramatic gossip & rumour spreading than providing the team with any sort of leadership and feedback. Threw hissy fits often about staff members, including the assistant managers.
