A rewarding role where no two days are the same.
The good thingsSupportive management who want to see you professionally develop. Management will help you through your studies and workplace. They truly believe in you and want you to achieve. There is room for growth in this company.
The challengesThe amount of domestic assistance that you need to complete can be challenging at times; in the summer, it sucks. 40 degrees cleaning elderly clients' homes who usually do not have aircon on is rough. Apart from that, the only other struggle is waiting for a Case Management position to open; it is like a unicorn, very rare.

    Heartless "healthcare" facility.
The good thingsFellow nurses and carers on the floor.
The challengesManagement haven't got a clue. Company has paid to ship in RNs from all over the world instead of supporting their own team first. Treat ENs like dirt and actively tell their staff they are useless. Offered assistance for ENs to continue studying their bachelors and never followed through. Coworker had a car damaged twice in the carpark and the company did nothing, wouldn't even look through security tapes. The company don't listen to or incorporate staff. They also underpay compared to every other aged care facility.
