Good to work for but decreasing in size limiting options of locations and shifts and vastly underpay
The good thingsManagers were pretty good with me. Other staff mostly good.
The challengesATA is the NPT version of RN or Paramedic but you are not paid anywhere near enough as other private companies. It is a requirement of NSW Healthcare policy that RN or Paramedic is on board for PTS and we are provided to them as such, but told we are not paramedics, we are ATA's so paid lower despite requiring AHPRA registration and provided to healthcare as such.

    Could've been so much better...
The good thingsProviding our patients with positive experiences. Ambulance Victoria contract work provided some more interesting cases to assess and manage. Possibly the best pay rates available in NEPT sector, appropriate for the work done.
The challengesLimited training, no professional development, limited career prospects, no work health & safety culture, no social activity, poor interpersonal communication, negative behaviours go unchecked. Lots of rumours, inappropriate talk about others. Workcover injury management & RTW very poorly handled.
